Responsibilities :
Estimate costs for building automation system control projects.
Analyze project requirements and specifications to create accurate estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure cost control measures are in place.
Utilize electrical experience to assess project needs and provide pricing recommendations.
Incorporate knowledge of Bluebeam software for efficient estimation processes.
Negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive rates.
Maintain accurate records of estimates and pricing details for reference.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to construction estimating.
What Were Looking For :
3-5 years of experience estimating in the building automation industry.
Expertise with commercial HVAC systems and project cost estimation.
Familiarity with Tridium, Distech, Alerton, and Honeywell control systems.
Knowledge of material and labor costs, as well as product selection for sensors, valves, and other devices.
Experience with Bluebeam or Bid Tracer takeoff software is a huge plus!
