Key duties include overseeing the monthly accounting close process, reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations, managing compliance with internal control frameworks, and coordinating accounting services to meet operational needs. The role also involves providing leadership in accounting process enhancements, standardizing processes, and promoting best practices across all locations. Applicants for the Chief Accounting Officer position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA certification highly preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in finance management, with a focus on financial accounting, and at least 5 years in team management are essential. Proficiency in account analysis, general accounting, and financial statement analysis is required, as well as a proven track record in process management and improvement initiatives.
