About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Chief Financial Strategist to play an integral role in advancing the financial health, sustainability, and operational excellence of our organization. The Chief Financial Strategist will lead strategic fiscal management, budget development, and compliance with government grants while overseeing the annual audit process.

This role is ideal for a mission-driven professional with a strong strategic vision and exceptional financial expertise. You will cultivate transparency, optimize resources, and proactively address financial challenges to support our long-term goals.

Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within a nonprofit or mission-driven context. A proven track record in budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes is essential. You should be well-versed in financial and tax regulations, risk management, and asset oversight.

Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, particularly Microsoft Excel, is required, and familiarity with Salesforce is highly valued. Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must, as is the ability to lead a high-performing team and collaborate effectively across departments.
