About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer / Dean of Information Technology to provide strategic leadership in all aspects of the technology infrastructure and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of strategic plans and policies that integrate technology in alignment with the institution's mission and priorities. This role involves overseeing the college's IT and institutional research, ensuring the effective use of human and material resources, and maintaining the integrity and security of information. The CIO will also act as a technology consultant to all college constituencies and is expected to actively pursue professional development for the technology staff. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' progressive IT leadership experience, with a preference for those with a background in higher education. The role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field or a Bachelor's degree with higher education experience, along with appropriate certifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the role of information technology in an educational enterprise, a proven track record in planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships. Experience in areas such as information security, programming, and networking is desirable, as is familiarity with specific technologies used in the educational sector.
