As the Claims Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire claims process, from the moment a claim is filed to its resolution. You will lead a team of claims adjusters and support staff, ensuring that the claims process is smooth, efficient, and customer focused. You will analyze claims data to identify areas for improvement, develop policies and procedures to streamline the claims process, and collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and marketing, to improve the overall customer experience. You will also be responsible for building relationships and partnerships to develop a service network that can deliver the best possible service to our customers. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our culture and ensuring that our customer experience is top-notch.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of claims adjusters and support staff to ensure the claims process is smooth, efficient, and customer focused.
- Serve as Warranty Claims subject matter expert. Educate team members and customers on product and process as well as answer questions for internal and external customers.
- Analyze claims data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
- Develop and manage policies and procedures to streamline the claims process.
- Establish Audit Criteria and conduct file audits to ensure compliance with fair claims practices, warranty and contract provisions and established protocols.
- Always think forward and identify new ways to enhance the customer experience during the claims process.
- Build relationships and partnerships with service providers to develop a service network that can deliver the best possible service to our customers.
- Drive a customer-focused culture across the company by leading by example.
- Ensure that the claims process adheres to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Authorize settlements, payments and reserve amounts up to established authority levels.
Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty Adjuster’s license with the ability to complete required course of study, and pass examinations necessary to obtain and maintain a qualifying reciprocal adjuster’s license
- 10 years of Claims Adjusting experience
- 5 years of leading a team of adjusters
- Extensive knowledge of the Home Warranty Industry and home construction practices
- Highly proficient in reading and interpreting contract language, statues, regulations, technical information and accurately applying them throughout the claims process.
- Advanced critical thinking skills to analyze and negotiate a resolution with experience in resolving highly escalated situations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to apply problem solving skills to complex situations and clearly document claim file activities.
- Advanced computer skills working in multiple platforms including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
