Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential environments. The Cleaner will ensure that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both employees and clients.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Conduct custodial duties including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Carry out industrial cleaning procedures for larger facilities or specialized environments.
- Support residential painting projects as required, ensuring surfaces are prepared and cleaned post-job.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and custodial practices.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and polishing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move items as needed during cleaning tasks.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
