Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Communications to lead our high-volume EMS dispatch center, handling 100K calls per year. This role requires a strong leader who thrives under pressure, ensuring seamless call intake, dispatch protocols, and operational efficiencies while keeping teams motivated and mission-driven.
The ideal candidate is a process-driven strategist who excels in mentorship, technology integration, and continuous improvement to optimize workflows and elevate performance. With a focus on compliance, quality, and innovation, this leader will play a critical role in maintaining efficiency, improving response times, and ultimately saving lives. This is an opportunity to own the room, drive impact, and push the boundaries of EMS dispatch operations in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Education & Work Experience Requirements
- EMD. ETC or EMS Certification
- Proficiency in CAD systems, preferably ZOLL Right CAD
- Proven leadership experience in EMS dispatch or a high-volume call center
- Expertise (or ability to quickly learn) using call referral systems such as VectorCare, Aidin, RoundTrip, NEMT Cloud Dispatch, etc.
