Senior Designer
A leading children’s wear manufacturer is looking for a talented, highly organized Senior Designer. This person is someone with a knack for knowing what's hot in the market, has a keen eye for color, trend, detail, and construction, and strives to bring newness to customers. You must be able to multi-task, communicate clearly and effectively, and be a team player.
Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in children’s wear design is a must.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Senior Designer will work cross-functionally with Design, Sales, and Merchandising to create and develop seasonal apparel lines while supporting the overall brand’s objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Research and identify marketplace trends on style, fit, and color to maintain a brand strategy.
- Create CAD sketches of styles in development.
- Create presentations and work with customers to gain feedback and input on the designs.
- Create and maintain line sheets within a season.
- Develop samples of styles in development.
- Work with the technical design team to ensure a great fit on all garments.
