Controls Engineer

World class, 100 year old billion-dollar manufacturing company has an immediate need for a Controls Engineer to help evaluate specifications and electrical requirements within a large manufacturing facility (450 employees). In this role you will help to design/modify new/existing manufacturing lines. There are many opportunities to climb within this business.
- Be part of design and development teams for high impact automation projects using state-of-the-art technologies.
- Develop Internet-of-Things connectivity between machines
- Provide full support to site engineers, production lines and cross functional teams.
- Employ new technologies (troubleshooting, improving current automation infrastructure, root cause analysis, data-driven decision-making approach).
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering preferred
- 3 years of varied automation systems experience (Allen Bradley PLCs preferred)
- Strong project management skills
- Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing initiatives OR continuous improvement programs
- Knowledge designing, implementing, and improving electrical products and systems.
- Effective communicator and excellent attention to detail.
