Qualifications:
- Ability to work professionally and effectively with body shop personnel to create a team atmosphere
- Experience managing Direct Repair Programs (DRP’s) for large insurance companies
- I-Car or ASE certification preferred
- Approach to business affairs guided by the highest ethical standards.
- Produce quality repairs timely and effectively
- Ability to manage and motivate personnel to achieve consistent excellence in work product
- Ability to adapt to and employ latest technologies in automotive paint and body work / collision repair
- Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators including: CSI, profitability, cycle time, etc.
Essential Duties of Experienced Body Shop Manager:
- Manage the activities of all body shop operations with professionalism and integrity
- Assure exceptional customer service and resolve complaints
- Promote and maintain good relations with large insurance companies
- Supervise the completion of work order forms to ensure accurate vehicle records.
- Approve and forward bills and invoices to accounting department for timely billing.
- Prepare estimates for collision repair, lot damage, transport damage, etc. as necessary
- Attain mutually agreed upon department performance objectives
- Review work volumes, plan and continuously monitor staffing levels to ensure efficiency, qualify of work product, and effective customer service; review departmental performance against KPI and metrics and develop and execute strategies for improvement
- Professional personal appearance.
