Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance periodically
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and develop effective solutions for repairs.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Repair tractor-trailers to maintain optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all equipment is up do date on all DOT requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines techniques and practices.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Familiarity with tractor-trailer systems is essential.
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
