About the Role
We are actively seeking a dynamic Director of Land Acquisition and Title Management to join our esteemed senior leadership team. In this influential role, you will spearhead land acquisition initiatives, focusing on the identification and assessment of high-potential project sites. Your responsibilities will include negotiating land lease agreements and executing comprehensive title research and due diligence. This role is essential for ensuring all land-related activities for our renewable energy projects align with legal and regulatory standards.
As the inaugural member of the land team, you will adopt a hands-on approach, guiding the development of a team of land acquisition experts, legal professionals, and land use planners. We are looking for candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and have substantial experience in land acquisition and title management, preferably within the renewable energy field.
An in-depth understanding of real estate legal principles, along with proficiency in title research and analysis, are critical. Strong negotiation abilities and excellent interpersonal skills are vital to succeed in this role. Familiarity with GIS mapping tools and the capacity to manage intricate projects are highly valued, as is a readiness to build and lead a team as we expand our project pipeline. Experience in utility-scale solar, storage, and / or wind projects, as well as across various ISO / RTOs, is considered a significant asset.
