Confidential manufacturing company located in the Pensacola, Florida area seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain.
Overview
The Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for managing and improving all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement to warehouse operations. This leader will develop strategies to streamline processes, reduce costs, and ensure the timely availability of materials critical to our automotive production. The ideal candidate has extensive supply chain experience in manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy
aligned with company goals.
· Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers,
negotiating contracts to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
· Procurement Oversight: Oversee procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-
effective sourcing of parts and materials.
· Inventory Control: Optimize inventory management to maintain balance between
availability and cost-efficiency.
· Logistics and Distribution: Ensure efficient transportation and distribution processes,
including inbound shipments and delivery of finished products.
· Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of
excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance
efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production delays.
· Data Analysis and Reporting: Use data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs),
track supply chain performance, and drive informed decision-making.
· Risk Management: Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks and
address disruptions.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and sales
teams to ensure alignment and seamless operations.
Required Skills and Abilities
· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· In-depth knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier
relationship management.
· Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
methodologies is a plus.
· Background check, DMV, and drug screen required.
Education Background and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related
field (Master’s preferred).
· 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years
in a leadership role.
· Proven success in supply chain strategy development and execution, preferably in
manufacturing or automotive industries.
Physical Demands (To include but not limited to)
· Prolonged periods of standing or walking around the workspace.
· Frequently lifting heavy objects, such as tools, parts, or equipment, weighing up to 50-
75 pounds.
· Moving large or heavy equipment, carts, or vehicles within the shop.
· Frequent use of fingers and hands for typing, writing, and operating a computer.
· Using telephones, printers, copiers, and other office tools.
· Frequent need to focus on printed or digital material.
· Reviewing documents, schedules, or customer data with accuracy.
· Exposure to loud noises from power tools and machinery.
· Working in non-climate-controlled environments, leading to exposure to heat or cold.
· Potential exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals like solvents, oils, and paints. Proper
PPE is often required.
· Frequent reaching above the shoulders or below the waist.
· Maintaining physical activity throughout the day without fatigue.
· Adherence to safety protocols to avoid injuries from sharp tools, heavy objects, or
moving vehicles.
· Safely operate a motor vehicle.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
