We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Ensure that all kitchen utensils and equipment are sanitized and stored properly after cleaning.
- Support the culinary team by providing clean supplies as needed during meal preparation.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in deep cleaning tasks as assigned, including cleaning floors, walls, and equipment.
- Assist with catering events or banquets by ensuring all dishware is ready for service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food service environments is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
