What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at Confidential?
Local aggregate mine is looking for a heavy equipment operator and dredge operator.
Responsibilities and duties, but are not limited to:
- Operate heavy and small equipment.
- Extract and processing of aggregates.
- Load dump trucks with requested material and weight.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on equipment, machinery, and vehicles when needed.
- Complete routine maintenance checks on equipment and machinery on daily basis.
- Might be asked to work overtime and Saturday's (seasonal).
Experience and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ operating heavy equipment i.e. pay loader, excavator, skid steer.
- 5 years Dredge operator experience.
- Heavy equipment and vehicle mechanics a plus.
- Knowledge of aggregate product production and wash plant a plus.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance required.
Essential Functions:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Prior to hiring, must adhere to a drug, alcohol, and background check.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
Full-time employment benefit package:
- Paid 30 minute lunch break,

Hourly rate will commiserate with experience.
