Paso Robles based event producer, specializing in corporate meetings and events, seeking a (part-time) event coordinator. Candidate must have prior event and meeting production experience and strong desire to grow and develop knowledge and skillset in this industry.
Production & Event Responsibilities include:
· Assist event producer with pre-production and planning (requirements to differ project to project)
· Research design needs, rental items, decor, and vendors for various events
· Oversee and manage orders and scheduling with vendors for deliverables and oversee on-site execution.
· Create and manage purchase order's, insurance and other paperwork for all orders.
· Coordinate and participate in client communications: emails, conference calls, meetings and travel.
· Generate production documents including production schedules, show schedules, floorplans, etc.
· Onsite event & meeting support to assist in load-in, event execution and load-out.
Skills & Qualifications include:
· Minimum of 3-4 years production experience in corporate, non-profit and non-profit events.
· Bachelor's degree required
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and use of the Internet as a research tool. (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint... you must be well versed.)
· Innovative and critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· High degree of initiative and entrepreneurial spirit.
· Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
· Experience and skill in managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, without loss of attention to detail.
· Valid driver's license and current insurance required.
· Technical knowledge and ability in video production, audio production, projection & display is a plus

This position will start early January. This position is estimated at 10-15 hours per week office hours and additional hours (when required) onsite at events. Hours will be split between in-office and working remotely from home.
