About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Campaign to join its Philanthropy team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in providing strategic direction, oversight, and execution of comprehensive fundraising campaigns that align with institutional priorities and drive transformational giving. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class campaign strategies, partnering with senior leadership, Board members, and Philanthropy staff to ensure the success of large-scale, multi-year campaigns. Key responsibilities include strategic campaign leadership, collaboration with leadership to secure major gifts, campaign oversight and execution, stakeholder engagement, and fostering a culture of philanthropy. The role also involves leading a team of campaign professionals, mentoring them, and ensuring a high-performance, collaborative, and innovative work environment. Applicants for the Executive Director, Campaign position at the company should have a minimum of 10-12 years' of progressive experience in philanthropy, campaign management, or related fundraising roles, preferably within a healthcare, academic, or nonprofit setting. The role requires a proven track record in leading and executing multi-year, comprehensive fundraising campaigns, strong leadership and relationship-building skills, and proficiency in data analytics related to campaign fundraising. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to influence senior executives and major donors, and experience in guiding high-performing teams. Knowledge of grateful patient philanthropy, and transformational, principal, and major gift fundraising, as well as physician engagement, is preferred. The Executive Director will be expected to make high-impact decisions, solve complex challenges, and operate with a high degree of autonomy, while championing a culture of donor-centered philanthropy and ensuring exceptional donor engagement and stewardship.
