We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated Dermatology team.

We are a Private Dermatology Practice in Palm Beach County . This is a great position for candidates who are searching for a caring team who delivers excellent patient care. The applicant would be seeking a rewarding position where your medical assisting experience and knowledge would be appreciated. At least 1 year of dermatology Medical Assisting experience required.

Job Description subject but not limited to for this fast-paced Dermatology office:

Responsible for patient flow and strategies to improve patient care

· Assist provider with patient care by obtaining history and chief complaint.

· Assist in medical records documentation

· Assist in surgical procedures

· Maintain medical exam rooms, stocking supplies, and Sterilization

· And, Subject but not limited to for this fast-paced Dermatology office

· Assist physician with patient care by obtaining history and chief complaint.

· Assist physician with procedures, bx's, and other procedures in the Dermatology office

· Assist with wound care and suture removal

· Completion of pathology and lab requisition documents

· Pathology call backs and pathology logs

· Set up surgical trays for in office surgical procedures

· Sterilization of instruments and surgical packs.

· Triage phone calls.

· Room patients and triage for visit

· Complete EMR tasks through the visit

· Sterile tray preparation, sterile technique, instrument cleaning

· Order supplies and check inventory

· Mips reporting assistance

· State Melanoma Reporting

· Spore testing and maintenance of sterilizer and autoclave for compliance

Front Desk Duties

· Answer phones

· Schedule appointments and verify insurance

· Check in and check out patients.

· Obtain and track referrals when needed

· Data entry and charge posting when needed

Pay: From $19.81 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
