Looking for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to work in a primary care office in Prescott Valley, AZ. Must be comfortable with being primary provider with minimal supervision. Company pays for CMEs malpractice insurance and credentialing fees. This positon is for applicants located or willing to travel to Prescott Valley.
Primary Job Duties:
- Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients.
- Select, order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patients.
- Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and injury.
- Preform procedures including but not limited to, suturing and splinting
- Explain procedures, discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients.
- Document findings and treatment course in patient electronic medical record including follow-up notes.
- Direct professional and ancillary staff regarding treatment of patients.
- Maintain up to date knowledge base for current medical practices.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality.
Education:
- Master’s degree from accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Board Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner
- Arizona State licensure
- Current DEA licensure
- BLS Certification
Experience:
- A minimum of one year clinical experience as a licensed nurse practitioner in primary care or urgent care with pediatric and adult patients required. (At least two years preferred)
- eClinicalWorks experience preferred
