A Family Office Counselor is a dedicated tax and estate professional who is focused on clients with ongoing financial planning needs, as well as provides planning advice in areas such as cash flow management, insurance advisory, employee benefits and retirement planning. The individual will be responsible for partnering with Advisors to provide holistic financial planning and comprehensive advisory solutions that will optimize inter-generational transfer of wealth by customizing unique solutions. This role is a key member of the collaborative, team-centric approach of client servicing across Family Office Counseling.
Responsibilities
Partner with Private Advisors under the Global Family Office to determine and understand clients’ financial objectives, design custom plans, and strategize and execute the financial plans. Cadence of client meetings to review the plans are on a quarterly basis.
Identify planning needs beyond a clients’ financial objectives to identify additional service offering for clients and implement bespoke strategies tailored to ensure continued wealth for generations to come.
Provide a quarterly deliverable to clients comprised of their net-worth, cash flow, risk management/insurance summaries, estate planning and tax planning.
Offer and review insurance strategies, employee benefits and retirement planning, and charitable planning.
Coordination and oversight with other Family Office Solutions such as bill pay and CFO analytics.
Be an integral part the Family Office Counselor Services’ growth
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Juris Doctorate (JD) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred
CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification, Master of Business Administration (MBA) considered
7 years of experience in financial planning, particularly, for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net worth clients
Experience maintaining at least 20 client relationships on an ongoing basis
Skills
Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask and reprioritize within tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills on complex matters, both written and oral
Extensive knowledge of Family Office Financial Planning
Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem-solving and client service
Strong collaboration and partnership skills
Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks
Experience using eMoney preferred
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
