Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records for billing, A/P and A/R, payroll, and general month/year end, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support for financial decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, preferably on a national/global capacity, to effectively contribute to our organization’s financial health.
Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation through facilitating daily banking procedures including deposits, payments, matching AP, and payroll distributions.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Set up new vendors and accounts, including verification of customer PO, billing/payment terms, project set up)
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies or issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Generate financial reports for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs.
- Utilize financial software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist with audit requests.
- Manage travel procurement and expenses.
- Process payroll and manage tax accounts.
- Participate in month end reconciliations and investigations/resolutions.
- General administrative support to senior leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in financial software is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
