Job Overview
The Finance Director will be responsible for the financial health of our organization, ensuring strong financial planning, compliance, accounting, and reporting. This role will involve strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial risks to support the company’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive company growth and profitability.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Optimize cash flow management and working capital.
- Lead the accounting team and oversee day-to-day financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Assist with client invoicing.
- Present financial reports and insights to executive leadership.
- Manage and mentor the finance team.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and leave policies.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
- Conduct open enrollment processes and educate employees on benefits options.
- Process semi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and verify payroll-related data.
- Address payroll inquiries from employees and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in financial leadership, preferably in the IT or MSP industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, and accounting principles.
- Experience with financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to executives.
