Position Overview:
We are looking for a professional Operations General Manager who's personal values align with our core values to join our leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a standalone business unit, focusing on service excellence, team member development, efficiency, and team leadership. You will ensure that all objectives are met or exceeded through exceptional management and operational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production, driver/service team, maintenance staff, and all operational activities.
- Provide leadership and hands-on management to drive productivity and team engagement.
- Ensure that all corporate training and procedure guidelines are being met across the team.
- Manage and protect company assets, including buildings, equipment, and inventory.
- Take responsibility for P&L management, budgeting, and financial performance, ensuring sound decision-making.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic goals, including delegation and follow-up to ensure targets are met.
- Handle conflict resolution and offer consistent training and mentorship to team members.
- Represent the company within the community and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous management experience, preferably in operations or logistics, with a strong track record of success.
- Experience in budget management, including P&L responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, able to work with all levels of management, staff, and clients.
- Self-starter with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of energy, with the ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must pass a drug screen and possess a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business operations or a related field.
- Experience managing within the service, hospitality, or textile industries.
