Operations Manager – Luxury Treehouse Stays
Location: Fredericksburg, Texas
About Us
We operate a unique collection of treehouse-style accommodations in Fredericksburg, Texas, providing exceptional guest experiences in a one-of-a-kind setting. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our glamping property. This role involves managing staff, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Communications Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, issues, and special requests.
- Oversee the guest communications team to ensure timely, professional, and high-quality responses.
- Handle guest concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Maintain high hospitality standards to drive positive guest reviews and repeat bookings.
Property & Maintenance Coordination
- Oversee all on-site maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with service providers (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, etc.) for property upkeep.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all units meet quality and safety standards.
Cleaning & Lawncare Oversight
- Manage the cleaning team to ensure consistent and high cleanliness standards.
- Schedule and supervise lawn care and landscaping services to maintain property aesthetics.
Team Management & Availability
- Oversee the virtual assistant team and step in as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Be available six days per week to support and manage operational teams.
- Supervise the guest communications team, on-site maintenance, and cleaning staff.
Revenue & Operations Management (Bonus if experienced but not required)
- Utilize revenue management tools to optimize pricing and occupancy rates.
- Implement and oversee operational systems to .
Administrative Duties
- Respond to calls, emails, and direct booking inquiries in a timely manner.
- Oversee reservation management and ensure seamless check-in/check-out processes.
- Maintain accurate records of operational expenses and budgets.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 years of experience in hospitality, short-term rental management, or the hotel industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing both remote and on-site teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
- Knowledge of property maintenance, vendor management, and operational best practices.
- Familiarity with revenue management tools and booking platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Expedia, etc.).
- Highly organized with strong multitasking and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effectively diffuse challenging situations.
- Availability to be on-site at least three days per week and oversee operations six days per week.
- Computer-savvy with proficiency in property management systems.
