Groundskeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, and lawn care. This role requires attention to detail, a passion for gardening, and the ability to operate both hand and power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall appearance of landscaped areas, including lawns, gardens, and flower beds.
• Perform regular lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
• Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to ensure optimal growth and health.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks.
• Assist in planting, pruning, and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete larger landscape projects as required.

Skills

• Proficient in groundskeeping techniques and practices.
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance principles.
• Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance.
• Knowledge of plant care requirements for various species in the garden.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.47 - $16.07 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
