Overview
We are seeking an experienced heavy equipment repair and maintenance individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy machinery and a proven record in maintaining and repairing equipment. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment with total knowledge of preventative maintenance background in inspection and diagnostic measures for a small mining company with mostly caterpillar equipment.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as Cat excavators, bulldozers and loaders
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including diesel engine repair and total knowledge of preventative measures
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
- possess excellent communication skills to research and to communicate with professionals in carrying out solutions for equipment fleet
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment maintenance, and repair with experience in Caterpillar machinery preferred.
- Strong skills in diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage for maintenance tasks.
- Excellent teamwork with our staff and outside vendors.
- Ability to work independently as well demonstrating a helping attitude working with our mine workers.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail for troubleshooting equipment issues.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
