Hostess/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, efficient, matureminded Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be key to creating a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
• Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness in the front-of-house area, including the host stand and dining space.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold high standards of guest services, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation is a must.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
