Job Summary
We are seeking a Hotel General Manager experienced in the management of an Extended-Stay hotel product. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hotel management , demonstrate exceptional leadership skills while ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, optimizing operational efficiency, and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Supervise and mentor hotel staff to ensure high standards of service and performance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage guest services to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with human resources for staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
- Foster a welcoming environment for guests by promoting excellent customer service practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the hotel premises.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel and attract new guests.
- Maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
- Must have prior Hotel General Management experience, preferably in the select or extended stay market.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in front desk operations and knowledge of hotel management software.
- Ability to learn and use different computer programs and applications associate with budgeting, human resources/payroll, property management.
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective guest interactions.
- Familiarity with resort operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred but not required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
