Assists with the development, implementation and management of compensation programs, including
base pay, variable pay, incentive and merit. Completes annual market analysis and recommends
competitive merit budget and structure movement for upcoming fiscal year.
Creates, updates and maintains job descriptions. Reviews and completes job evaluations on new and
revised job descriptions and recommends appropriate salary grade assignments. Performs exemption
status review of new and existing U.S. jobs to ensure full compliance with the exemption provisions of the
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
- Conducts data gathering, modeling, and data analysis to support various compensation programs;
prepares recommendations and presentations for delivery to leadership.
Advises Field HR and Recruitment on salary recommendations after thorough analysis of internal equity
and external market competitiveness. Analyzes and researches data discrepancies and takes appropriate
action to resolve. Responds to general compensation inquiries from Recruitment, Field HR, Leadership, etc.
Serves as primary contact for various compensation survey groups and third party compensation
consultants. Participates in annual compensation survey processes; prepares all data submissions to key
compensation surveys and answers inquiries related to the submissions.
Remains current on all Federal and California State Laws and regulations as it relates to compensation,
FLSA, minimum wage, etc.
