What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Supervisor position at Confidential?
The company is in search of an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor for our Manufacturing Facility in Ogden, UT. This position will perform work in general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment in addition to supervising maintenance staff. Extensive electrical knowledge and experience working with higher voltage (240/480) is required. Relocation offered for right candidate.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
- Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades as well as maintaining stock and organizing spare parts.
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks while preparing and submitting maintenance reports.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Be able to contact and assist contractors as needed.
- Supervise maintenance employees to ensure that all PMs are completed timely.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills, Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Tech or Supervisor
- Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Basic computer and report writing skills
- Good communication and time management skills
- Light fabrication and machining
