Installation Manager - Bath Installation Team
We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills to join our Bath Installation team.
The Installation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the installation process for all products in their assigned area. This includes scheduling, quality assurance, customer satisfaction, materials management, and the oversight of the installation workforce, including both employees and independent contractors. This position will serve as the primary point of contact between the customer and the company in matters related to installation, contract scope, and service issues.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the progress of ongoing construction projects, ensuring timely completion at each phase.
- Coordinate and manage the accurate measurement, ordering, and installation of all required materials within the set project timelines.
- Review project documentation to identify any discrepancies and ensure clarity on project requirements.
- Ensure all work adheres to local regulations, permits, and community guidelines, as well as internal policies.
- Supervise and mentor installation teams, providing training and performance feedback to improve skill sets and efficiency.
- Conduct regular reviews of project timelines and progress, adjusting schedules as needed to maintain workflow.
- Ensure compliance with established systems and processes, guiding teams to meet project standards and timelines.
- Lead and direct installation crews, ensuring that work is completed according to the planned schedule and quality expectations.
- Administer payroll for both installation and service staff, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Recruit and retain qualified professionals for the installation teams, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship and reliability.
- Oversee the coordination of subcontractors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Perform site audits and inspections, address any issues, and provide actionable feedback for improvement.
- Serve as the main liaison for customers, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
- Manage post-installation services, ensuring warranty claims and issues are resolved promptly and according to internal policies.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring that inventory and materials are organized, safe, and available for daily projects.
- Implement staging and organizational strategies to ensure the smooth flow of installation tasks each day.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing or coordinating projects within the construction or home improvement industry.
- Strong practical experience with carpentry and woodworking techniques.
- Knowledge of home remodeling, particularly in the areas of interior spaces and structural enhancements.
- Ability to conceptualize and interpret designs and transformations from existing spaces.
- Experience in precise measurement and layout for construction or remodeling projects.
- Competence in creating and interpreting project drawings and layouts with accuracy.
- Hands-on experience with various aspects of light construction work, including but not limited to carpentry, surface treatments, and flooring.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills in both fieldwork and project documentation.
- Proficiency in evaluating project requirements and making adjustments to plans as needed.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage a team effectively and ensure high standards of work.
