Inventory Control Specialist

The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring efficient inventory management and seamless operations within our warehouse. This position will work directly with the Operations Manager to meticulously track, balance, and organize inventory, helping maintain an accurate and organized flow of products to and from our facilities..

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping Documentation: Process essential shipping paperwork, including loading sheets, purchase orders, bills of lading, packaging sales, and other documents necessary to support the efficient movement of goods.
• Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of product shipment tags against corresponding sales orders, ensuring accurate tracking and fulfillment.
• Real-Time Inventory Management: Maintain an electronic inventory system with up-to-date, real-time data, including pallet tag identification for easy tracking.
• Physical Inventory Checks: Conduct weekly physical inventory to verify accuracy, support item rotation, and ensure alignment with electronic records.
• Packaging Coordination: Coordinate packaging sales and distribution for outside growers, aligning inventory levels with sales forecasts.
• Warehouse Organization: Gather, maintain, and organize packaging materials within the warehouse to support smooth operations and maintain order.

Requirements:

• Availability to work a 5½-day schedule (Monday through Saturday)
• Proficient in Excel
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 years of experience in data entry or a similar role
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
