Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership :
- Lead and manage the PMO function, driving project governance, strategic alignment, and successful execution of key initiatives.
- Partner closely with the CIO to align IT strategies with business goals and ensure seamless execution of IT-related projects.
- Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Act as a liaison between senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Work hand-in-hand with senior executives to identify project priorities, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Program and Project Oversight :
- Oversee the delivery of large-scale programs and initiatives, ensuring they are on time, within scope, and budget.
- Implement and maintain PMO processes, standards, and tools to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Financial Management :
- Develop, manage, and track project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Perform financial projections, forecast project costs, and align budgets with organizational objectives.
- Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate financial risks across the project portfolio.
- Vendor Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure timely delivery of services within agreed budgets.
- Conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Team Management :
- Lead, mentor, and develop project managers and team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
- Promote accountability and ensure all team members adhere to established standards and processes.
- Operational Excellence :
- Monitor and report on project portfolio performance, risks, and issues to the senior leadership team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and organizational efficiency.
