Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Lead Software Engineer to spearhead the migration of legacy Tibco-based applications to modern .NET Core platforms within the financial services or wealth management domain. This is a high-impact role requiring strong expertise in both Tibco and .NET Core, excellent leadership abilities, and a solid background in enterprise-level migration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end migration of Tibco applications to .NET Core, ensuring performance, security, and minimal business disruption.
- Architect and develop scalable and high-performance solutions using .NET Core (C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework).
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and business leaders to align migration strategy with business goals.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting in Tibco and .NET environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security protocols, and financial regulations.
- Create detailed technical documentation and ensure auditable migration processes.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with the migration.
- Stay up to date with trends in cloud computing, software architecture, and the financial services space.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of hands-on experience in software development with strong expertise in Tibco and .NET Core.
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, RESTful APIs, Microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
- Expertise in Tibco EMS, BW, and integration methodologies.
- Familiarity with financial/wealth management systems and their compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in .NET Core, AWS, or Tibco.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
