We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part time Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants while maintaining strong relationships with property owners. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to negotiate effectively, as well as familiarity with property management practices. The Schedule will include weekends.
Duties :
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Manage the leasing process from application to contract signing, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant applications and leases using property management software.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Negotiate lease agreements and terms with potential tenants, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Assist in marketing efforts to attract new tenants, including online listings and open house events.
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations.
- Stay informed about local rental market trends and Section 8 housing regulations.
Skills:
- Strong background in real estate administration and property management.
- Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) systems, with experience in Yardi .
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial agreements.
- Exceptional customer service abilities, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing contracts and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in an office environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
