We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Leasing Agent to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing outstanding customer service and seamless leasing experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Actively engage with prospective tenants, providing tours of properties and answering any questions they may have. Building a rapport with current applicants to give them personalized service.
- Application Processing: Guide applicants through the leasing process, including filling out and reviewing applications, conducting background checks, and preparing lease agreements. Managing the collection of initial rent payments, security deposits, and application fees.
- Market Knowledge: Stay informed about local market trends, property availability, and competitive rental rates to effectively advise clients and adjust strategies as needed.
- Property Management: Assist in the upkeep of property listings, ensuring all information is current and accurate across various platforms. Monitoring community facilities, including laundry rooms and common areas.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to both prospective and current tenants, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, manage appointment schedules, and handle lease documentation and related paperwork. Manage changes to rental agreements. Daily update on company dashboard.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote available properties and enhance visibility through various advertising channels. Stay informed and actively monitor upcoming property availability and potential issues
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a related field is preferred.
- Licensing: A real estate license is a plus but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Organizational Abilities: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using property management software and other digital tools.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree or higher is a plus.
- Flexibility: Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate property showings and client availability.
Compensation:
- Salary: Competitive compensation of $40,000 - $55,000 annually, based on experience.
