What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Manager position at Confidential?
MSU Student Property is seeking a Leasing Manager to join our team!
Must have previous experience as a Leasing Agent.
The ideal candidate is an organized, customer and sales-focused individual who excels at maximizing a team of leasing and sales staff efforts to ensure goals & sales figures are being achieved. As the Leasing Manager you will be the strategic leader behind all leasing efforts.
· Lead, coach and motivate the leasing & sales team to meet & exceed prelease and occupancy goals.
· Ensure the team is operating at a high level of efficiency & tasks are being completed in a timely manner.
· Review communication from the team to prospective residents to ensure appropriate information is being provided. Upon review, create an action plan to correct/better future communication from team members to prospective residents.
· Create a marketing plan using sites like apartments.com, social media, and various promotions, events, and outreach at the MSU and LCC campus
· Lead social media efforts with contributions from the team.
· Greet, tour & build relationships with prospective residents & guarantors.
· Utilize different mediums such as phone calls, texting and emailing to interact and sell apartments to prospective residents.
· Qualify & sign prospective residents utilizing Rent Management Software efficiently and accurately.
· Approve/deny prospective residents based on qualifications.
· Creating schedules for the sales & leasing team.
· Maintain knowledge of the East Lansing student housing market & competitor communities.
· Conduct property inspections and formulate action plans to improve the community.
· Work with the Community Manager on various tasks as directed.

Schedule: In Person, Monday-Friday, 45 hours a week with some weekend availability needed.
Candidates must be able to pass a drug test and have a valid drivers license.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
