The Opportunity: A group of Oklahoma City based affiliate entities (the Company) has an opening for a hybrid position to perform administrative and legal assistant functions reporting to the General Counsel.Qualified candidates for this role should be reliable, organized, self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects at one time, detail oriented, and possess the mindset to adapt to frequently changing priorities. The Opportunity will allow the right candidate to participate in drafting correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents in collaboration with the General Counsel and other key team members. Additionally, the Opportunity requires a candidate that is comfortable communicating, both in writing and verbally, with outside attorneys, vendors, and other third parties, managing calendars and organizing meetings. Prior experience with oil & gas transactions and/or real estate related matters is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate enjoys learning, works well with others, tries to find solutions or answers on their own, and generally seeks to improve the workplace and work product.
Candidates for this Opportunity must be:
- Highly experienced and skilled in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- A clear communicator, both in writing and verbally;
- Organized, with an eye for detail;
- Able to respond quickly to shifting demands;
- Able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines; and,
- Possess Experience in Law office with writing/editing/proofreading responsibilities. Strong preference will be given to support experience in a law firm setting, or an oil & gas or real estate related business. Alternatively, experience as an executive assistant or administrative assistant in another business setting will also be considered.
Additionally, the Legal Assistant will be confident and proficient in the following:
- Supporting the General Counsel in preparing and finalizing documents, including formatting and proof-reading for quality control;
- Managing calendars;
- Docketing transactions, case and matter deadlines and managing calendar;
- Performing general office tasks, including mailing, photocopying, printing and scanning;
- Perform all other administrative and non-administrative functions to support the General Counsel and the Company as a whole.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
