Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons while providing excellent guest services. As a Lifeguard, you will monitor activities in and around the pool area, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies as needed. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining a safe environment and promoting water safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all activities in the pool area to ensure the safety of guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide first aid and CPR as necessary in emergency situations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Assist with pool cleaning and maintenance to ensure optimal water quality.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and pool maintenance activities.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on lifeguarding techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard certification is required; CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred. Employer will arrange for any necessary Lifeguard certification.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary.
- Experience in guest services or customer interaction is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment maintenance or emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be attentive, responsible, and able to react quickly in emergency situations.
