Law Firm in Palm Beach County is looking for an experienced litigation paralegal with 5 years previous experience.
Responsibilities:
· Litigation from start to finish
· Draft pleadings, memos, and correspondence;
· Trial preparation and Trial Binder;
· Comply with and propound discovery;
· Mediation preparation;
· Hearing preparation;
· Correspond with medical providers, clients, and other law firms;
Prepare settlement statements;
· Litigation case management;
· Perform investigative searches;
· Conduct various searches and queries on the internet;
· Meet with clients;
· Manage scheduling of depositions and hearings;
· Coordination with court reporting companies; and
· Coordinate with outside sources and third-parties.
Required Skills:
· 5 years of paralegal experience (Plaintiff ONLY);
· Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
· Experience with case management system
· Knowledge of efiling systems (state and/or federal);
· Familiar with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure;
· Excellent communication skills, customer service relationships, soft skills, decision making, and relationship building;
