JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Assistant maintains, cleans, troubleshoots and performs repairs. Maintenance Assistance must have general maintenance experience in residential. Must be familiar with general appliances, power tools and experience troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintaining and cleaning facilities, equipment, and the environment
· Ensuring office equipment is in good condition by testing and checking for defective components or parts
· Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of equipment
· Diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance issues
· Handling emergency requests for cleaning and maintenance services
· Communicating with supervisors on the maintenance status of equipment and facilities
· Attending training sessions about best practices for maintaining and cleaning facilities
· Complying with health and safety regulations and removing waste from facilities
· Managing the routine upkeep of outdoor areas, building exteriors, and parking lots
· Troubleshooting issues with lighting, HVAC systems, and plumbing
· Overseeing construction and repair work.
· All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
· CPO Certification or to be attained with in 90 Days of Employment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and maintain facilities.
· Ability to work in a team and desire to help others.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· 2 years’ Residential Property Maintenance Assistance or relevant experience.
· Proven knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
· Familiar with Maintenance Equipment, Machinery and various tools and the upkeep if these items.
· Knowledgeable of local building codes and ordinances.
· Highschool Diploma or GED
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIROMENT:
Work setting will be on property, requiring the ability to walk great distances, lift up to 75lbs., climb and be comfortable performing roof work, operate heavy machinery, and withstand extreme outdoor temperatures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
