Purpose
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations. This role is critical to ensuring maximum uptime, efficient equipment performance, and maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
Essential Functions
· Supervise Maintenance Team: Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all machinery, including hydraulic presses and cutting machines, are functioning at optimal performance.
· Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of all equipment.
· Troubleshooting & Repairs: Oversee the identification and resolution of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Lead troubleshooting efforts during unplanned downtime to ensure prompt repairs and minimize production delays.
· Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and materials required for maintenance activities. Ensure that the necessary tools and parts are readily available to avoid unnecessary delays.
· Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations. Promote a safety-conscious culture within the team, performing safety audits, and ensuring all technicians are properly trained on safety protocols.
· Team Development & Training: Mentor and train team members on maintenance procedures, equipment handling, and troubleshooting techniques. Develop training schedules to keep the team updated with the latest technology and industry standards.
· Machine Upgrades & Modifications: Work with the engineering team to evaluate and implement machine upgrades, modifications, and improvements to enhance production efficiency and machine reliability.
· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, inspections, and parts usage. Provide regular reports to senior management regarding the status of equipment, maintenance projects, and team performance.
· Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure that the maintenance plan aligns with overall production schedules and priorities.

Education & Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required. A technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
Competencies
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including PLCs and control systems.
- Familiarity with CAD and CMMS systems for equipment maintenance and reporting.

Work Environment
Work is performed on a shop floor. Work environment is fast-paced, and employee must be able to multi-task and respond quickly. May be exposed to a wet environment and/or cold and heat.
