Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience in facilities management, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance tasks, as well as the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all team members, equipment and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of work progress and completion to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain schematics and documentation related to maintenance activities for reference and compliance purposes.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for ongoing projects.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance management and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and address any facility-related issues.
- Able to organise, maintain, track and complete invoices daily including billable hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with all home based electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
- Experience in facilities management, including preventative maintenance strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and other departments.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
