RN MDS Coordinator
We are hiring an experienced full-time RN MDS Coordinator for our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The MDS Coordinator will be responsible for the nursing assessment of residents and documentation review and analysis as needed for completion of resident’s MDS, CAAs and Care Plan in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations.

Job Description: The primary responsibility of the MDS Coordinator is to conduct and coordinate the development and completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument; the MDS, CAAs, and Care Plan in accordance with State and Federal requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Familiar with MDS 3.0 and all required documents
- Possess a strong working knowledge of computers as all MDS components are computer based
- Strong understanding of state/federal regulations in regards to MDS in a skilled nursing environment
- Knowledge of Medicare as well as various managed care requirements
- Help process and submit files to state for reimbursement
- Facilitate training of staff for correct documentation
- Other tasks as assignment by management
- Working understanding of HIPPA compliance
Education:
- RN License Required
Experience and Specific Requirements:
- Prior MDS experience is preferred
- Should have experience working in a SNF or LTC
- Must hold a current nursing license for the applicable state
- Experience and knowledge with Point Click Care or similar online system is preferred
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
