What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler position at Confidential?
We are currently hiring Mechanical Assemblers to work in our printed circuit board assembly operation. Our facility is located in Palm Bay, FL. Must be available to work Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Follow verbal and written assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Assemble piece parts into a final product using manual and electrical tools.
- Functional test of assemblies and box build units using various equipment.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Report problems with product quality, manufacturing processes, and materials.
- Provide hands on training to coworkers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assure the work environment is safe, secure, ethical, and legal.
- Any other reasonable tasks necessary.
Qualified candidates will have electronic assembly experience or be able to demonstrate skills in assembly of small electronic and mechanical components. Experience is preferred but not necessarily required for a candidate with the right attitude and skills. Communication skills in English are required.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift and/or move up to 10lbs, may be required to lift up to 25lbs. Must have the ability to sit, stand, walk, reach within arm's length, stoop, kneel and crouch. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
