Mortgage Lending branch is seeking a pre-approval specialist to assist Branch Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Issue loan pre-approvals based on complete loan applications and documentation
- Detailed lead tracking and follow-up
- Attend pipeline review on behalf of loan officer and involve in escalations when needed
- Entering contract details in Encompass and handing file off to processing
- Communicate borrower conditions
- Review the file for any missing documentation that best supports approval.
Requirements :
- At least 3 years of mortgage experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication- primarily communicating with clients and business partners
- Encompass experience strongly preferred
- Experience reviewing completed 1003’s and requesting required documents for pre-approval from borrowers
- Experience reviewing credit / income / asset documentation and running AUS to issue a strong pre-approval letter (DU,LP)
- Experience calculating various income types : W-2, OT, Variable Pay, Schedule C, 1120-S, Schedule E Rental income
- In depth knowledge of guideline differences between Fannie, Freddie, FHA, USDA
- Experience with down payment assistance a plus
- Bilingual
