Business Overview:
The Back Office Fund Administration team is responsible for the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting, recordkeeping and financial reporting of mutual funds. The team facilitates the annual audit process, and prepares and files regulatory documents for 1940 Act-registered funds as well as non-1940 Act-registered funds. Works closely with both internal and external business partners to analyze data to identify potential issues and performing research as needed to develop appropriate solutions. Perform controls, balance accounts, posts accounting entries, prepare and file regulatory reports, and shareholder statements according to established procedures and regulatory rules.

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily NAV calculations, including cash projections, reconciliation of trade activity and corporate actions, reconciliation of holdings and cash, and review/analyze income and expenses.
- Preparation of reports for both internal and external customers.
- Prepare, edit, and maintain financial reporting production schedules for clients, ensuring adherence by all parties.
- Prepare and review various workpapers supporting mutual fund financial statements and forms, along with filings with regulatory agencies, i.e. N-CSR, TSR, N-PORT, N-CEN, N-MFP, 24f-2, etc.
- Interact with external auditors
- Collect, analyze and execute comments from internal and client reviews
- Research and resolve complex problems
- Assist in updating department procedures
- Additional duties as requested or assigned
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mutual fund accounting and/or reporting
- Experience with Investment Accounting Platforms and DFIN Reporting Application
Salary : $40 - $50
