Responsibilities
- Manage the office calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate travel arrangements for staff members.
- Prepare and distribute important documents, including reports and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person.
- Handle all aspects of payroll, including processing and submitting paperwork.
- Manage and maintain office supplies and inventory.
- Assist with event planning, including coordinating logistics and arrangements.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, taking messages, and filing documents.
- Utilize office software and technology, including phone systems, calendar management, and computer applications.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee records
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a relevant field is an asset.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an office setting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office, and experience with payroll and scheduling management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or walking.
- Availability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
