SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Seeking friendly, technology-minded individual to join our growing CPA firm. The candidate will assist in process inflowing and outflowing work and correspondence, track workflow utilizing a variety of firm technology programs, including a due date tracking client database, and provide administrative support to office. The successful candidate will assist other team members as required by needs of the office.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field (required)
- Strong technical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Competent computer skills and proficient to advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Excellent typing skills with speed and accuracy
- Highly professional work ethic
- Flexibility with overtime to meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and fast paced environment
- Positive attitude
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
JOB DUTIES
- Answer phones, assist clients, maintain office
- Ability to draft letters, memos, and correspondences
- Manage administrative tasks
- Document management to include filing, copying, faxing, scanning, storage system and shredding
- Tax returns assembly
- Prepare management reports
- Manage business office calendars and coordinate appointments via Outlook
- Billing and collections
- Complete special projects as needed and other duties as assigned / required
- Supports other staff members of the firm
- Manage supplies and equipment
- Other tasks as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION
High school or equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Administrative Assistant or similar position: 2 years
