A fast-paced healthcare organization is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support workforce management and office operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring appropriate staffing levels for client care, maintaining shift coverage, managing schedules and time-off requests, and supporting team onboarding and training. The Staffing Coordinator will also assist with various administrative functions, including technology support and supply management. This is an on-site position offering hands-on engagement with both staff and leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate schedules across all shifts to maintain coverage and service quality.
- Adjust staffing plans in response to call-outs, leaves, or other disruptions.
- Review and approve timecards, monitor attendance, and manage time-off requests.
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast staffing needs and adapt to census or client fluctuations.
- Set up technology and resources for new team members.
- Implement training programs to ensure new hires are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Provide hands-on support and coaching to new and existing staff.
- Monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and assist in performance development planning.
- Ensure adherence to supervision guidelines and provide regular feedback through check-ins.
- Maintain office supplies, technology resources, and inventory systems.
- Manage mail distribution, equipment tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Handle documentation requests in compliance with record retention policies.
- Support staffing during shortages or urgent coverage needs.
- Act as a point of contact for emergent staffing or client service issues.
- Contribute to general office and operational support as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in healthcare, direct care, or staffing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to train and supervise staff effectively.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
